A professional with 30+ years of cross-functional experience across the value chain spanning Design, Strategy, Sales, Marketing, Operations, IT & Digital, Strategic sourcing, Innovation and M&A. “Envision, Empower , Excellence” through “Innovation, Collaboration and Execution” is his leadership style. He is passionate about building result-oriented teams who make a difference by infusing value in everything they do. Presently as the Chief Data Officer of Schneider Electric, Greater India, he is spearheading the Data Transformation journey.

In addition to holding leadership roles in sales, marketing and business development, he started 5 new businesses that have grown multi-fold over the years and are thriving today. He was the leader for three 5- year strategic plans for the Electrical & Automation business. He also was instrumental in the L&T-Schneider Electric merger as the sell-side lead for L&T Electrical & Automation business including CCI approval, business continuity agreement, cut-over and integration.

Naveen is a Board Member of Schneider Electric India Foundation (SEIF), Indian Electrical & Electronics Manufacturing Association (IEEMA), and Indian Value Engineering Society (INVEST) He is on the editorial board of IEEMA journal, member of R&D committee - CPRI and Chairman - Indian Value Engineering Society (INVEST) West Zone.

In the past, he has held important positions including Chairman, Innovation Council at L&T Electrical & Automation for over 6 years, Immediate past National President, INVEST.

An Electrical Engineer from NIT, Durgapur and an alumnus of IIM, Kozhikode, Naveen is passionate about business transformation and strives to leverage latest digital technology.

His recipe for a sustainable, profitable growth is defining a vision, formulating a strategic plan and embed into it an efficient execution methodology.

Naveen’s Personal Mantra is invest in your health, a hobby and do your bit to Society and while you do all this, stay fit through exercise / sport (Badminton is his choice).
