Conserve My Planet program is a fun-filled experiential learning program for conserving energy and environment to address the Energy Dilemma and get aligned to the vision with SDG 13. We teach the young and impressionable minds about the various concepts and benefits of environment conservation like Energy Saving & Energy Efficiency, Renewable Sources of Energy and their Benefits, E-waste Challenges & Management, Recycling of Resources & 3R Model - Reduce, Reuse & Recycle and Conservation of Environment in a very engaging way through a combination of interactive classroom-based workshops and outdoor activities spread across 6 months. The program culminates with a School Championship which is followed by a City Level Green Championship.
Students are put in the driver's seat, to help them understand how they can make changes today that will help everyone tomorrow. The program is conducted in five to seven major cities across the country every year. Since the inception of this program in 2009, we have reached over 102,000 children in over 900+ schools and trained them as Green Ambassadors.
What is the school championship and city level championship?A student who tops in each school emerges as School Champion. All the School Champions of a city come and compete with their science models on the day of the Grand Finale of each city. The Grand Finale is known as the Green Championship
