Teacher’s Mission is a program to take employee-volunteering to the next level. It acts as a bridge between the company and the foundation. Through our Teacher’s Mission program, we harness our resident pool of knowledge of employees and provide our experienced workforce an opportunity to give back to society through knowledge and experience sharing.
The idea is to encourage Schneider Electric employees to provide their voluntary teaching services in skill centers run by Schneider Electric India Foundation. The topics of the training vary from technical (related to training curriculum) to non-technical but important subjects like interview skills, time management, communication skills, etc. This project envisions a voluntary sharing of knowledge and experiences by our current and retired employees with the young men and women.
Through this endeavor, we hope not only to strengthen the organizations we work with but also to encourage our employees to empower others through their expertise. Since the inception of the program in 2012, we have completed more than 1,000+ such missions in India and have contributed around 6,400+ volunteering hours till now.
